I appreciate that he did not burn it down

Best of luck Frank Wilson, your mask slipped. Maybe Ole Miss can repair it by Mardi Gras!

You can appreciate all he has done for the program over the years as far as recruiting, but also acknowledge he was not worth it have on the field RB production fall as far as it has with the horses he brought in.

The hate he has gotten has been a little crazy imo. Hope he does well at OM except when facing LSU on the field or on the recruiting trail.

We’re printing a lot of receipts that ole Miss are going to call us out on.

He’s getting paid by a rival to convince La kids that leaving La is best for them, after he spent approximately 8 of the last 15 years telling them the exact opposite.
It’s his job to weaken lsu and strengthen an in conference rival.

Yep. We can agree he hasn’t been great at developing RBs, but he’s been a good man and was an asset for LSU over the years.
People in this board wanting to crucify him makes no sense to me, especially those who were overreacting about the quote from him about “burning the building down”.
We have a better RB coach now so it’s all good.

It’s really simple he is a good recruiter and a very average coach. New Orleans area kids like him but to be honest in NIL days it’s $ that matter. Same $ that made him leave for OM.

I’m pretty sure he was told to leave LSU. Sure he will get good money at Ole Miss, but that’s not why he’s leaving LSU.

He’s not cut out as a head coach, but nobody thought he was. You’re foolish if you thought he could turn the offense around. He doesnt coach O-Line or call plays.

Looking forward to having a 1,000 yard rusher again.

Prior to Kelly being fired I had no idea who he was.
