$5B in ‘questionable’ rental assistance under Biden revealed — including to thousands of ‘deceased tenants’ and non-citizens: HUD report
WASHINGTON — A US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) report found more than $5 billion in taxpayer funds went to “questionable” rental assistance recipients during the final year of the Biden administration — including around 30,000 “deceased tenants” and “thousands” of potential non-citizens, The Post can reveal.
HUD officials said a “large concentration” of the suspicious payments went to New York, California and Washington, DC, with dead recipients getting at least some funds in all 50 states — in what federal officials are calling widespread abuse of taxpayers’ dollars under the Biden administration.
“A massive abuse of taxpayer dollars not only occurred under President [Joe] Biden’s watch, but was effectively incentivized by his administration’s failure to implement strong financial controls resulting in billions worth of potential improper payments,” HUD Secretary Scott Turner said in a statement.

But SFP said Biden’s DOJ was on top of all the fraud and corruption.
Why would anyone think corrupt politicians, like Biden, or his corrupt, handpicked DOJ would be trying to get to the bottom of any corruption?
According to people who believe this, Biden was looking into the fraud, into a state (Minnesota), where the ringleader was the governor who was about to take over his presidency’s VP slot.

As the money trail is followed, I would love to see how much of these stolen funds ended up in the hands of Republicans and orgs that fund Republicans or push right wing agendas vs how much went to Dems and the left.
Not that it matters. People vote based on emotion and what color jersey the candidate wears even if it means supporting fraud and theft.

Undoubtedly some did. But since a large percentage of the money went to NY, California, and New York (none of which are Republican strongholds) it’s safe to say overall the theft benefited Dems more.
They need to start arresting people who enabled the fraud and squeeze them to get info on others who benefitted, regardless of political affiliation.
