MVB quietly had the best game at QB this season

If we can get Cam Coleman from Auburn, and keep a speedy WR threat, you are giving him the best WR, the best TE, and hopefully the fastest deep threat to deal with.

Now we just need a run game!

Idk who will be our QB week 1 next year.

But I am supremely confident it won't be MVB.

Definitely would love to keep him as a backup. But with the options in the portal, he’s not going to be our starter.

Congrats to him. I’m sure he’s worked his arse off. Whether he is in the mix at QB next year remains to be seen. Kudos to him

I’m not trying to be mean but he really doesn’t need the keys to that Ferrari if we have Berry, Kewan, Cam Coleman, and Green. We need to get the best portal QB available in that case and win a natty in year 1 under Lane because that would be the closest thing to 2019 level skill position talent we’ll ever see.

Just giving MVB the job after his terrible performance all year would be stupid. Let him compete if he wants to stay and if he’s the #1 guy, great, but the competition needs to be between him and someone who would likely be a Heisman contender

You didn’t learn from putting a bunch of stock into the bowl game from last year?

Please elaborate. He needs some development but showed signs of improvement after being thrown into the fire late in the year.

So o wise one, please educate us all with your almighty wisdom and magic 8-ball.

Colman is good.

There are some very undated WR's Coleman is great. So are some other 's I guess it's about how much.

Would love to have him. Bama has good WR's It's our running game that is lacking.

We will see against Indiana

He looked bad in the first half. He got going second half.

Lane could turn him into a solid Sec QB. Not my first choice but I wouldn’t hate it because I trust Kiffin

Dude he's terrible. If that's the best QB Kiffins got going into game 1 next season something went wrong.

The opponent was the university of Houston. This game is not a valid reference. Not even close to SEC caliber defense.

I think comments such as the one quoted above are idiotic unless that person making that assertion is on the LSU coaching staff. Prove me wrong.

I know I'm derailing the thread, but here we go:

They finally put in plays that are built for MVP instead of having him run Nuss' offense.

My question is: if Nuss was injured in fall camp and was struggling all season, why wasn't that done well before Week 1 much less the frigging bowl game.

That's how bad our former coach was. That's how bad our team was prepped.

Back on the rails...
So putting in some plays and a strategy that were tailored to MVP helped him alot. BUT, 2 things:

- they obviously got away from those after 12 min. into the game
- if MVP can't run the offense built for Nuss, which was basic progressions with very little option routes he isn't the QB of the future anyway

MVB would struggle to earn a starting spot in the Sun Belt.

This posts are just ridiculous.
