The feat was shared by NFL insider Jordan Schultz on X: "Ja’Marr Chase just became the first WR in NFL history to have 80+ catches, 1,000+ yards, and 7+ TDs in each of his first 5 NFL seasons."

That's incredibly impressive.

Other wideouts have had great career starts, too, including guys like Justin Jefferson and a bit older than that pair, Mike Evans.

But Chase is clearly one of the best WRs on the planet, and this stat shows it.

This is awesome, and Chase is great, but I always get a kick out of how random these are:

80+ Catches
1,000+ Yards
7+ Touchdowns

Well those numbers have always been a standard for top tier wr

If a wr has 10 tds and 1000 yards he had a great year

Well what isn't random is that it's never been done before.

Most players have a big injury and miss time by now

What’s impressive is a lot of those numbers came from a back up QB throwing to him.

Will a Super Bowl ring ever adorn the fingers of Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow? Will the Bengals Offensive Line execute the ultimate nightmare collapse and send Joe Burrow into permanent medical retirement?

Inquiring minds wanna know.

Cry for you Joe........

How many times has this been done for 5 consecutive years, regardless of whether it was the initial 5 years of career?

I’m guessing a very short list?

Very impressive considering he always gets the defenses best effort to stop him.

Reminds me of when ESPN used to make these types of posts seemingly every day about Lebron James being the first player to have X,Y and Z lol

The GOAT, Les Miles, recruited Chase to play safety. Chase has had a remarkable career considering that he has been playing out of position(according to the GOAT).

And the extra game wasn't needed to hit the milestones.

One of those seasons was a triple crown, which is itself a major accomplishment

Right, at these odd intervals.

Why 80 catches? Why 7+ touchdowns? 1,000 yards makes sense.

Surprised he has not set a record for targets in a season, they force feed him.

LSU haas had several WRs who could have done that, if Burrow was their QB. Jefferson, Thomas, Nabers.

It been fortunate for Burrow and Chase
