Shitting on Baker is maybe the dumbest take ive ever seen anywhere.

Aside from the opt outs, which is reason enough to dismiss this trash take.
The defense is the ONLY REASON LSU isnt 3-10 right now lol. Did you just forget that LSU broke 25 against FBS one time? And STILL scraped together a bowl eligible team?

He's not absolved from criticism. He rolled out a poorly prepared defense tonight and didn't make any adjustments. You can't say that the players played up to their capabilities.

It will be interesting next year if we still can't stop a mobile QB, set and hold an edge, defend a pass catching TE, get pressure without having to blitz, get home even when we do blitz, or get off the field on 3rd and 4th downs.

So many starters out and zero depth amongst a ton of transition and turnover. Anyone claiming Baker is a fraud is a poster child for reactionary.
This team was in such a bad place after Kelly, let's just be glad they were competitive.

No Perkins, Delane, Haulcy, or the Weeks brothers. Arguably the heart and soul of this defense this season. On top of that zero depth.
This team will get rebuilt, Baker will have his depth, and this defense won't be hung out to dry anymore because of a historically bad offense. Not having to start over with DC is going to be huge in terms of continuity. Keeping Baker was an important move, regardless of what the meat head chicken littles on this site say.

Cry bitch. LSU had plenty of depth and scored more than enough points to beat Houston. Bakers Swiss cheese defense was god awful and the reason they lost. He’s trash and you’re trash for defending it and expecting a different result. Better hope Kiffins offense can score enough to not let Baker ruin it all.

What's truly hilarious was everyone freaking out about the opt outs, how we won't have a full team (hyperbole that everyone ran with), "why even play this game", and then surprised they didn't show their best effort.
