So Jokic 56 points, 16 rebounds, and 15 assists with a 90% true shooting and no one cares

On Christmas Day

To me, this is just proof that everyone knows beyond a shadow of a doubt, he is the best player in the NBA, and has been for a long time. The fact that no one bats an eye and expects this, makes it even funnier when there are posters on here that will say “push off” SGA is the MVP again

His PER for the season is over 35

First player in NBA history to achieve 55+ points, 15+ rebounds and 15+ assists in a game. Pretty impressive stat line.

Its been clear for years that Jokic is the best player in the league and it isnt even as close as FTA fans want it to be.

Does anyone really care about the NBA before the NFL season is over?

The last 6 seasons he’s played the game better than anyone in NBA history not named Michael Jordan.

Actually - he blows Jordan's best seasons out of the water as well

Comparing Jordan's peak to Jokic's last 6 years

Nikola Jokic: 2020 – now
Average PER 32.1
Peak PER 35.4
3 MVPS (should be 4 after this year)

Michael Jordan: 1986 – 1993
Average PER 30.4
Peak PER 31.7
3 MVPs

He won’t get respect until he wins a second title.

But I’d this 6 year run up against anyone.

He’s shooting .440 from 3 this year and averaging a 30 point triple double.

He’s lapping the field in statistical dominance.

It makes the league, the legacy media, the sportswriters, & 90% of the players absolutely furious that the best player in the NBA over the last 5 years is pudgy White male from Serbia. Their response is just not to talk about him until forced to.

Yeah all those new -age stats don’t trump the eye-test my man… I saw were they were making the case that Sam Darnold was better than frickin John Elway based on some algebraic stats concerning their best seasons…

Everyone that covers the NBA gushes over Jokic. Stop trying to create a narrative.

Not only was Jordan the best offensive player in his era, he made first team all defense 9 times, defensive player of the year once, runner up another year.

We have never seen an offensive force like Jokic, but Jordan is the best all around player the league has ever seen

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't think Jokic is the best player in the league right now.

MSB: no one cares about the NBA

Also MSB: why doesn't anyone care about what Jokic is doing.

Why was my post calling out racism being the reason why some won’t accept him as the best player deleted? Whose feelings did I hurt?
