More then likely if we have Berry, Durham and Lacy. Would you keep Berry or Durham? I would keep Berry and I think Durham hits the portal. Probably would have to pick up one more. The RB from FL is a beast Baugh I think, Berry and Lacy are a damn good pair. Thunder and lightning!

Durham & Lacy are similar in run styles.

I’d take one of them & Berry, I do think if Lacy comes Durham is the odd man out. Berry’s Skillset fits really well as the “lightning” to a Power Back.

Why not keep them all? Our rb depth sucks.

People think 2-3 RBs is enough. I remember a few yrs back Texas had their top 5 RBs all injured at the same time…

I’d want to keep them all, but I bet Durham leaves. If we end up with Berry and Lacy I’d go get 3 younger backs and try to develop them. Talented but maybe not proven yet. I don’t know what else we can get? I don’t think any stud running backs are going to split carries with Berry and Lacy.

I'd keep Durham and Berry, and get Johnson back on the team as RB #3. Maybe that would keep everyone happy.

I'd rather Baugh from UF. Him and Berry would make for the best 1-2 punch in football.

As would Lacy and Berry. Feels like Baugh going to Texas. Lacy and Berry seems more likely and would be the best duo in CFB.

Exactly. 2 or 3 is not even close to enough. That Texas season was an outlier, but have y’all seen our schedule next year? Even with good injury luck, 3 scholarship RBs is not going to be enough. Even if we have no “injuries,” 3 dudes will be beat the frick up by the end of the season.

I’ve asked this in like 3 threads, but haven’t gotten response yet. Are there any good local backs that didn’t sign in December for whatever reason? Not projects, but guys that are physically ready to play immediately, even if they may not have super high ceilings. And not “start” immediately, but who could maybe come in and give us 8-10 carries in a pinch if necessary. Or 4-6.

I think we’re gonna see coaches use RBs differently this year with the 9-game SEC schedule. Especially ones with playoff aspirations. Swapping Western Kentucky with Texas is going to take a cumulative effect.

Durham hits the portal the minute it opens. He lost his starting job. Of. Purse this is just opinion but I just don’t see him hanging around.

I’d say if Lane wants him we are paying him whatever Lane says. I guess we will see though.

Berry would be my #1 priority of the running backs already here. He can do it all and he has at least 2 years left. That being said, Kiffin needs a Land Rover Defender to go with his Maserati GranTurismo. You pay to keep Harlem happy and you pay to get Lacy here. If you watch Kiffin’s offensives, you know he relies heavily on the run game.

None of that means anything without an offensive line overhaul. Tyree Adams and Braelin Moore are the two starters that should return.

I think the ASH kid ends up coming back as well. Just a gut feeling.

I do too and Durham is a decent pass catching back. I have not seen enough on Berry to make that assessment.

If Lacy stays at Ole Miss and we keep our two backs, it really won’t be that big of a deal. They will be in a much better scheme.
