The last few election cycles (22 and 24) this was 90% what Republicans campaigned on

What can we realistically do about the cost of everything (and I mean everything) being so high and constantly getting higher at unreasonable rates

With that said, people still seem to be spending like drunken sailors. All while bitching about the costs. It feels like Normy Normyville is going to be pissed about this in the 26 election cycle if it continues at this rate.

All I know is that gas prices are down but soda prices are shooting up like crazy.

What's the story behind that? Coke & Pepsi are now $2.49 a liter? Sure, Walmart has them cheaper, but the last jump was like 30 cents in recent DAYS.

Too late, I think Dems take control of the House as a minimum. Republicans had their chances but as usual screw it up with all the infighting.

Raise tariffs.

That will help keep prices down.

For sure.

Don't you doubt it.

Also, we need to spend more money. But don't worry, the Big Beautiful Bill is on it's way, and it will spend $4T over the next ten years, so we're golden there.

Inflation is down to normal.

Prices are never going to come down, we have to grow real earnings, which Trump is doing.

This is just more baked in nonsense. It's not remotely too late. The gas numbers alone are easy enough to do a quick side by side comparison.

To be fair, prices just go up and on occasion for no seeming reason, they just shoot up.

Sometimes, yeah greed can start it but a lot of it is response to greed. But the biggest effect by far is money printers.

There was A LOT of money printed in 2020-2021 (still is, everyday). We're still paying the price for it.

Never believe creating cash out of thin air doesn't have an affect on inflation.

Prices have been either level or even lowering since early this year. I don’t know where you shop but the only thing I now consider high priced is beef and even that I can grab on various sales for a reasonable price.

We can stop printing $2,000,000,000,000 per year. That was easy.

Inflation is down to 2% from 20% that Biden gave us

The Rs (Masshole, Rand etc) should be tweeting about tbat all day long but they want to lose

Prices are never coming down and to say lets vote for the Ds they will fix it when they are the ones who got us here is insane

We need to grow out of this wages need to increase which seems to be 26s focus for this admin

Yep, Trump printed 7T in four years. Biden printed 7T in four years, Trump is on track to print 7T in four years.

The REACTION to this is inflation, and is a bubble, not linear. This silly arse “hey look at the cost of beans and gas today!” is juvenile. The crash of 2009 was the result of two decades of bad real estate policy, not the result of what happened in the preceding 90 days.

Want to stop price increases? Make the deficit 0, and start reducing debt and the annual wasted 1T interest on it

Inflation has returned back to historic levels. The issue is the cost increases that happened under Biden are here to stay. That is the new norm. For us to go down would require stagflation (negative inflation)

This is one of those things where people see what they want to see. You get FLTech on here saying his grocery bill is down and so everything is OK, but it feels like gaslighting to tell young people the economy is doing well.

Inflation has gone down. Not sure what you’re complaining about.

Cost of living is great for most Americans thanks to DJT.

yet when inflation was soaring to 9% under biden, it wasn't gaslighting when the Biden Admin said inflation was under control and the economy was great? gtfo. You didn't hear a fkn peep out of them back then. Now Inflation is down around 3%, and it is all you hear from them. You people.

except, real inflation is significantly less than what Biden offered up under his term. How do you explain that? Prices went up dramatically under Biden....they have stabalized now, but you know they are never going down....thank your hero for the prices as high as they are....but at least we have reversed gas and eggs....don't hear anything about that anymore.
