Went to the vigil this evening
Had a visiting priest. He skipped the genealogy. Then dropped a 27 min long homily that was quite good, all about Jesus being the light in a dark world.
Mass lasted a buck 24 which is pretty long.

Went to 6:00 Mass because it was the children's Mass and my daughter was playing Mary and I was ushering.
Considering going back to Midnight Mass so I can actually pay attention and listen to the beautiful choir.
