Probably an unpopular opinion, A Christmas Story sucks

I couldn’t get into that movie as a kid and I still can’t get into it as an adult. If I’m going to watch Christmas movies I’m choosing:
Home Alone/Home Alone 2
Christmas Vacation
The Santa Clause
The Grinch (Jim Carrey version)

The marathon ruined it for me. My BiL wouldn’t let the family turn it off for like a decade, it got really freakin annoying. Still refuse to watch it anymore.
