The irony was that Omicron did what the vaccine was supposed to do. Super contagious but extremely mild form of the virus that gave everyone antibodies to fight off future versions of Covid.
I remember when the news was touting how “contagious” Omicron was but conveniently did not mention that its severity was on par with the common cold (slight fever, body aches, fatigue, etc) and only lasted a few days.

anecdotal story, my son lives in Nashville, he shared w me this morning that the mayor of Nashville works out in the same gym that he does - he always knows when the mayor is there, because there is a big Cadillac Escalade parked out from (illegally where no one else would even dare to park) with a security guard just waiting for him - it’s beyond past time to burn it all to the ground
