Obviously its a wonderful life comes to mind but looking for more under the radar suggestions. Watched Christmas in Connecticut last weekend with Barbara Stanwyck and enjoyed it a lot.
Any other good ones from the 1930s-50s i should check out?

Meet Me in St. Louis is not technically a Christmas movie, but part of it is during Christmas with young Judy Garland singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." We watch it every year.
You mentioned Christmas in Connecticut. Miracle on 34th Street and White Christmas are also on our list every year.
I also love Holiday Inn. It's also not completely a Christmas movie, but it is so fantastic and funny. And it's where Bing Crosby first sang "White Christmas."

Just watched Holiday Affair like we do every Dec 23. Great movie.
Lemon Drop kid with Bob Hope is good and hasn’t been mentioned.
The shop around the corner (1940) is good and has been remade a bunch of times (like You’ve Got Mail).
Just FYI. Most years you could find almost all of the ones listed so far on one of the streaming services. But this year a bunch weren’t available. If you can’t find something you want to see check archive.org under their movies section and it may be available to stream from there.

This is the closest thing to a trailer I can find.
According to Just Watch, it's available on TCM, Plex Player and Free Movies+. Click on FreeMovies+ and it comes up on the screen.
Can also rent on Apple, Amazon and Fandango at Home.

A lot of fun with Barbara Stanwyk and Sydney Greenstreet. It also featured
S. J. Sakall(Karl, the waiter/bartender in "Casablanca")
