Gotta add a new 65 inch into the game room. The previous one was 10 years old.
Tell me what to buy. I want android smart tv function(not going to use aftv anymore) and ability to download apps(tivimate) to the smart list.

Any tv with a $30 Walmart Android box attached?

Sony. I would get a Bravia 8 if I were buying today. I have a Theater with a 4k laser projector but my Sony with Dolby vision has a slightly better picture. The Google software is excellent.

Give some serious consideration to the QM7K.
I got the 75" last month and without a doubt it's the best tv I've ever owned. Android is buttery smooth and the picture quality especially with dark sci-fi shite is nothing short of amazing.
First TV that I've owned that really makes me feel like I'm at the movies

If you are going to use the TV and not a streaming box, then get a top of the line TV. The computing power of my Bravia is way better than the cheap Hisense I have hanging in the guest bedroom. The difference is stark.

Don't want to attach a box. I want to download iptv channel guide directly to smart tv list of apps.

TCL QM7K.
Same name for all, just pick your screen size. I got the 75 for $1k a couple weeks back so you may want to wait and see if they go on sale again around Superbowl and CES time.

Vizio was sold to Walmart and is now trash. If you don't want to pay Sony price then go with TCL.
Qm6k or qm8k

Dont buy a TV based on the smart TV platform. You get a TV based on the picture and then add a streaming device of the platform you prefer.
if you like Android TV, get an ONN from walmart.

Looks like they are about $1200 right now.

How did the TCL perform with football games and sports action? Another TCL user commented that he felt it had some blurring/ ghosting.

Just use a Chromecast attached to a tv. If not go with sony which runs native android on its TVs. Meaning tis the same as a Chromecast.
