Ah yes you must be new here. Welcome.

Each year, McMahon designates an inexplicable healthy scratch from most games. In many cases, this scratch is someone who comes into the season with decent hype. However as the season progresses, the scratch never seems to see the floor and questions arise about the scratch’s health.

The feckless local media never questions McMahon on such things so the fanbase is always left befuddled with a season long question. The scratch might make it another season but they almost always transfer out. Previous scratches include Corey Chest (2023-24 season) and Mike Williams (2024-24 season).

Zipper is rapidly approaching scratch territory.

This is the kind of coaching decision that I believe will ultimately catch up to a coach and help expedite his ouster.

That should be good news to those eagerly waiting to see McMahon gone as LSU head coach.

Corey chest is far from a complete player and his inability to shoot hurts the spacing of the offense. he is not just a bad shooter, but a terrible shooter. this makes him a real liability.

we are not in practice, so we don't know about zipper. I suspect his limited athleticism means he needs to learn some better defensive techniques

Based on what? I know an assistant coach, the message since before the start of the season is that he isnt good enough defensively

The last couple games he came in early and the other team caught up. Now it wasn't anything that Zipper did in particular, but it happened.

In tonight's game with the other team already leading and Max hitting 2-5 from 3, bringing in Zipper would have been high risk with little reward.

That would have been more than enough to not play him. Now if he wasn't there for some other reason, so be it. But there is more than enough for ANY coach to keep him out without second guessing like the haters will.

He mostly gets garbage time.

There was no garbage time tonight since LSU allowed a SWAC team to score 90.

Same with Carter. He hasn’t played in a while I don’t think. He seems to be one-dimensional on offense as a perimeter player but his defense seems pretty good.

While I’m at it, Miller is mostly a no-show as well, which isn’t what i expected

Because LSU got killed off the dribble all night and Zipper is a terrible defender

Agreed. Something is off when he is on the court.
