Have we hired RB and DL coaches??

I keep seeing this mentioned as if it’s a done deal ala Elijah Robinson. Is this official official in either case?

The last I read was Robinson was not coming to LSU and sounds like he is headed back to College Station. Our RB coach is expected to RB Coach Kevin Smith currently at Ole Miss.

I’ve checked the Coaching Changes board and I see the word “expected”. That’s what I’m asking: are either of these official or are we taking the “expected” and leaping to assumptions that it’ll be official (like we did with Robinson)?

Just a little google search as well would help you out. And looking at other post that show Kevin Smith walking into the facility yesterday with all the other coaches.
You must be the person at work that waits on everyone else to do the work for you.

Gamecocks have another coaching vacancy to fill
This is behind a paywall for the Post and Currier in Charleston. As of 19 hours ago, they seem to think it is a done deal for our new D Line coach.
On the RB coach, this is online from Louisiana Sports and seems to clearly indicate this is an official hire.

As for Smith we all assume he is coming because Frank Wilson is going to his job at OM.

"expected" is the word reporters use when a hire is done but not yet announced. That's the stage we're at with Sterling Lucas. I have no doubt that Elijah Robinson told us he was coming, and that's what all these guys reported on. Lucas is a bit different considering the SC side has also confirmed the news.
Kevin Smith is announced at this point, as are all the other offensive guys, based on the video LSU put out.
SC 247 reported Lucas was removed from the coaches group chat and SC on3 reported LSU is expected to announce it early this week.
