Should we target Kyle Pitts in free agency?

We obviously need weapons.. and having a 2 tight end set with Pitts and Juwan would be pretty lethal. he may cost something like 14 mil per year.

This could allow us to draft WR later in the draft and have a very versatile passing attack

No, too expensive for iffy production. He’ll get paid based off his potential and that crazy Bucs game.

I know he’s been kinda inconsistent.. I just imagine him w Shough and Kellen and think he could be a monster.

And 14-15 mil for a legit weapon is cheaper than 35-40 mil top WRs are getting

We should build through the draft and only look to make smart, cheap moves in free agency. The saints are almost out of cap hell, I'd rather them not go back to making the same types of decisions that got them in that situation in the first place

I believe he was completely miscast in Atlanta.

You would have to take a really deep dive into how he’s been used and into his head and heart. He for whatever reason has been lost. Was a monster at UF. As a potential suitor you would need to know something atlanta doesn’t.

A good offense makes a tight end , not the other way around

I’d honestly rather build the interior line through FA. Doesn’t even need to be an elite player just not horrible at this point.
