Cajun Night Before Christmas

God bless my deceased sister. She read it better than anyone could. I miss her dearly.

A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote. It’s only a 35 minute read. The prose is very beautiful and rich.

Not so much reading, but I do "Twas the night before Christmas" from memory.

And then if there are little ones I'll do a mad lib style version, which can get pretty funny and almost always includes farts and potty humor

Can’t you say “favorite” instead of “go-to”?

I'm not sure where my copy is stored. I need to locate it.

That good book helped guide me through many of difficult times.

From what cookie is accepted at what dinner during Christmas events to trashy Walmart decorations I would have easier seen as "modern".

I picked up an all volumes collection. It's not a philosophical piece. It's a fricking textbook.

But the manifesto is all you need to know the rest is bullshite. It's all definition-changing wishcasting. Communists are evil.
