I can't even imagine what blood bath is waiting for JMU.

Im cheering for a 90-0 blowout against JMU so they can see the stupidity that surrounds the decision they made to have these games.

I get it in basketball with so many teams making playoff and needing only 5 players to pull an upset. College football however is not basketball. With only a few spots for teams and needing 11 players on offense and defense upsets would hardly ever happen as compared to say ND , vandy making it over tulane and JMU.

If Texas, ND, or Vandy would have played OM it would have been a 2 score spread at most. This doesn’t need to keep happening

You may be right when the night is over. In fact, I basically agree with you. But there has only been one G5 team to play so far. Your title says “These games”.

In no way do I think the group of 5 teams belong in the playoff. But I would laugh if jmu beats Oregon after Oregon got a lot of hype even though they really didn’t beat more than 1 good team.

All they want is the money, and exposure

Yall realize they are just going to extend to 16 teams now correct?

This is going to snowball out of control.

I don't mind it. There will be one or two times when they catch the other team sleeping ,and we will remember it for a long time.

Kinda like AI atlas being an alien spaceship! I predict it will get really ugly; question is will Nike University call the “ducks” off!

And this is exactly why the G5 teams do belong in the playoffs, to decide the championship on the field.

The reason there are two G5 teams are in is because Tulane beat P4 ACC champ Duke h-2-h.

Yes, we assume that the G5 teams aren’t as good as the P4, but as a fella much wiser than I once said, that’s just like, your opinion man.

I love that the smaller teams get a shot. Let's face it, there's more parity in college football than ever before, so yes, a smaller school could possibly pull off an upset. Under your thinking, we might as well just let the 12 schools with the highest NIL funds participate and everybody else should eliminate football all together.

A G5 winning would be like the play in team winning except less likely since the 5 seed should be pretty good.

Tulane had the best chance considering ole miss didn’t have lane

Cool, let them have their own playoff to decide the championship on the field for that level

I agree but I like it.

It’s puts an end to the nonsense of these teams claiming to be the real champion after going undefeated against cupcakes all year.

And maybe one day I will get to see some no name come out and win the whole thing.

College football should be ashamed to put this product on national tv. Give the group of 5 their own playoff and let the big boys battle it out.

Make the smaller bowl games part of their playoffs. It would spark interest.
