When did the west bank of Jefferson Parish become full of Arabs

Every time I visit back home, there’s more and more Arab businesses taking over. There’s three Yemeni coffee places off of Manhattan now, half a dozen businesses with Arabic writing along Terry Parkway, a bunch of shawarma places and two halal grocery stores along Lapalco. Westbank JP is becoming Westbank Palestine.

Terrytown, Harvey and Timberlane are full of arabs. There aren't too many across the canal in Marrero and Westwego.
