The shooter’s motives - online versions

Now that he is dead and hopefully burning in hell or something even worse…
I have Jewish friends. They were desperately speculating online and in my text threads that the professor was Jewish and Zionist. Oh ETA they were vigorously trying to find some Jewish connection to the classroom that was shot up.
A lot of you - my MAGA, Anti-woke friends -believed, seemingly without questioning, the the shooter was that fat trans Muslim, even claiming the shooter walked like the trans.
The anti-abortion people still believe for some reason that the Alabama girl was shot in the head or face 10x and was targeted. No real reports of this.
Then you had the kooks all believing that the professor invented free energy or some shite and the oil companies took him out.
Even I at some point, when the authorities would not provide details, decided it was probably some leftist connection to the Turtle Island people.
All of the above was “supported” by X posts by random strangers. Typical rumor, speculation, or maybe even complete fabrication.
I think what they call confirmation bias may be at play here.
Anyway, most of us are fricked up and gullible and incapable of being patient, objective, or unbiased.
Have a great day, everybody. Did you know Jesus was not Jewish?

To be fair the squirrelly nature of the cops refusing to say what was said before the shooting, to name the suspect, brown removing webpages about the guy it was really suspicious. The gait analysis is dumb but there were reasonable reasons to suspect the Muslim man.

Perhaps you think someone believed the entire collection of speculations would be true? Regardless, the POS obviously had some twisted reason to carry out the shameful, cowardly acts he did. Does his twisted reasoning, his rationale for murder, really matter to you?

Motive DOES matter. It helps answer the question, "was this an isolated event?"
The authorities' failure to release details about the shooting and the shooter ensures speculation.
PLUS the Attorney General's statement that the shooter "kinda barked like a dog" before the shooting is contradicted by the statement of the only eyewitness whose name we even know. Joseph Oduro, the T.A. who led the class, said the shooter
- came into the auditorium through the back entrance,
-waited 5-7 seconds
-"mumbled" ABC interview or "screamed" (CNN) "something" and THEN started shooting
-"the first few gunshots hit" the chalkboard
The Providence gang is keeping us in the dark. Why? The shooter has been dead since Tuesday.

Agree. Communities deserve to know how safe they may be.

What really sucks about all this is a bunch of details have come out w/ out confirmation. Because the "authorities" refuse to release such details, like calling the shooter exactly what he is, as is so often the case when it comes to certain specific and protected groups.
White guy? No problem, here's all his info, going back to grade school.
Trans? Black? Muslim? it'll all be a fricking mystery and we'll never get the full story.

It seems like this guy had a beef with Brown in general and the MIT professor in particular.
He had not been at Brown in 20 plus years.
There may be some direct relationship between him and the MIT professor since both were from Portugal and were at the same university there about 25 years ago?
This probably does not have any political component involved. He was Portuguese- not exactly a Muslim hotbed in Europe and most Portuguese are Catholics so you can probably leve out a religious beef ( for now)
I think this has much more to do with the physics department at Brown and the Professor and unrealized opportunities and outcomes than anything personal against the particular student(s)

We do know what Brown's motive was in both not implementing sufficient cameras to easily identify potentially violent (Think Free Palestine) individuals, and as well their post murder attempts to cover and control the likely narrative of said murderer, which hampered a timely id of the shooter and would have prevented the death of the MIT Professor.
Honestly, the motives of the Institutions which cover for, promote and enable violent 'protestors' worry and anger me more so than the psychos who carry out the violence. Hell, at least the sociopaths have an excuse.
I hope Brown and the rest are forced to carry the 'rotting albatross around their neck' of people like that young, beautiful Lady. And the coming wave of revulsion, deserved contempt and civil redress. That beautiful, sweet child is more brave, educated and virtuous than the whole sanctimonious Brown Staff. God rest her soul.
I'm still wondering why we have not seen that devil's Social Media presence. What is with that?

1. They arrested a guy with a probable cause arrest warrant with no eyewitness accounts or forensics to support that.
It was truly a Baghdad Bob moment
2. Before arresting the wrong guy, before finding out the right guy was dead, or identifying the right guy, or putting the right guy into custody they declared there was no threat to the public and all was safe not knowing motive, Threat Level, or even having a person of interest much less a suspect
