Bless their hearts. Trump has crushed their souls! Poor Bunk and friends. Poor Doger Roger and alters...

Several of the largest U.S. and European-based drugmakers inked deals with President Donald Trump to voluntarily sell their medications for less, as his administration pushes to link the nation’s drug prices to cheaper ones abroad.

Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, and Novo Nordisk have already struck deals with the Trump administration to cut prices.

In exchange, the companies agreed to a three-year grace period during which their products won’t face Trump’s planned pharmaceutical-specific tariffs – as long as the drugmakers further invest in U.S. manufacturing.

I'm only melting about the fake narco terror war.

I just got back in the office and see this medication news. I was just saying, why did he call two ZOMG blockbuster press conferences within 36 hours about things he could tweet or have Leavitt cover?

What happened was you are so ready and waiting to attack all things Trump that you OPENED your VAGINA to ooze out your puss filled rant not really knowing what was going on! Now you are trying to clean up your tuna scented ooze.

Nobody is ever going to believe that you are who you claim to be due to you tds.

Roger has all but disappeared because he actually admitted to being a liberal. Your turn right?

It's been nice to see conservatives come around on actually doing something about big Pharma. Now let's do healthcare in general

Dafuq is this?

You’ve reduced your outrage to now letting your TDS be expressed as bitching about the method of communication?

Your illness is terminal, and obviously mental.

This is a massive deal with pharmaceutical manufacturers that reduces prescription drug prices by thousands of dollars. And it secures $160 billion dollars in stateside pharmaceutical manufacturing investment. It's an unprecedented reduction in drug prices and a bunch of money for industry infrastructure. And you think it's barely worthy of a tweet. That's pretty fricking dumb.

Three year grace period... How long does Trump have left in his term?
Sounds to me like they're playing the waiting game and hoping for a more favorable decision from a different administration.

I'm wondering if this is item specific rather than across the board?

This is how companies have handled Trump since his first term. Lots of promises that never or very rarely actually happen.

I’m assuming this agreement is only on certain drugs and not all drugs? From the other thread they were announcing price reductions of 80-90%.

That wouldn’t make sense to reduce pricing on all drugs that much if the goal was to avoid tariffs, as no way Trump would a tariff so high to reduce their profits that much (the tariff number would have to be so high that it would be ripe for the pickings for dems to frame it as making other life saving medications completely unaffordable.)

Did he finally? I mean, we always knew. It was funny watching him throw around the word “progressive” at posters when he is part of the progressive movement
