He’s obviously a good coach. Look at his track record on the players he produces and championships

He’s posted a lot of New Orleans related stuff lately. Posted an old TM7 post. He’s doing work.

I would be all for this.
He is the king of the New Orleans high school coaching community.
With Frank gone, I feel that it is necessary to have someone on the staff who is treated like royalty in New Orleans high schools.
This would be a grand slam hire.

I’d rather him stay at Karr and work for Kiffin.

He feels like the new Frank Wilson when Frank was Mr New Orleans at O.Perry Walker in the early 2000s

I’m all for Brice Brown joining LSU in some capacity.

He’s 128-17 overall at Edna Karr. He’s been the HC there for 11 years now, and gone to the state championship 8 of those years, and won it all 6 of those years.

He would recruit New Orleans and the state as a whole at a big level. His connections in the Louisiana HS ranks would be the cream of the crop. His demeanor is great on the sidelines.

I have no clue what role he would have at LSU, or even what his coaching specialty is.

LSU only has to fill Special Teams coach, DL coach, and LB coach.

It’s possible the guy from Florida will be LSU’s special teams coach and Baker still coaches the LB’s.

Brice Brown as the next d-line coach maybe?

Jabar Juluke took the same route from Edna Karr HC to a college position coach and has done that for more than a decade now.

He’s not joining LSU’s staff

Lane is simply and strategically kissing his arse.

For sure on the recruiting . That would be great with frank bailing on us. We have to lock Nola down best we can.

Was it really bailing though? Were you in on the conversations? I believe Kiffin had someone better in mind and looked at the RB's LSU has produced say over the last 2 to 3 years.

You want to trust a guy who has never coached on the defensive side in his life to a key position where technique and drill development are critical? Would be a disaster. If you bring Brice in it’s for a NOLA greeter type role.
