Looks like Cris Collinsworth is about to lose his job due to this 40 year old interview.

Cris Collinsworth set to take a break from NFL announcing for the next nine months.

Apparently Cancel Culture is alive and well.
Not sure if it was the comment about liking girls that aren't too bright, or the comment about high school girls.
Are people stupid enough to think that he was actually getting with high school girls and then telling a reporter about it ?
He was just making a joke about how girls think he's cool until they hit 18 and "realize that there's better out there".
A little self deprecating humor from 40 years ago is going to cost him his job.

Clown World.

This has been around. Not new. If it were a problem it would have happened a long time ago.

This is disgusting. CC is one of the best colour commentators in NFL history.

Everyone knows when you're being self deprecating that you should talk about 14 years old girls loving that you walk around w/$100 bills in your pockets!

So you're actually stupid enough to think that he was banging high school girls and then going in front of a camera confessing ?
It's scary to think that morons like you sit on juries.

He's not going to announce any NFL games from February to August?

The other thing is that CC had probably suffered 3 or 4 concussions in the previous 18 months back when that was filmed.

quote:

Cris Collinsworth has referenced the culture of playing through head injuries, though he has primarily focused on the lack of protocols during his era rather than detailing specific personal traumas.

?He once described the "sideline culture" where players would be asked basic questions like "What day is it?" and, if they appeared okay, were allowed to return to the game immediately.

He has also used terms like "clearing the cobwebs" and "getting your bell rung" when discussing head impacts on air, though he later acknowledged the need for more sensitive medical protocols.

While he has not publicly cataloged his own concussion count, he has stated that despite the risks, he would still choose to play football again and supports his sons' decisions to play the sport.

You're getting a little emotional here. It wasn't that deep.

But I guess it's true. When you want to make a joke about yourself, joke about 14 year olds wanting you for your money! So funny! Would destroy on Kill Tony.
