I've been noticing a lot of crazy deals on chips, sugary drinks, and cereals...

Is this a fallout from the lost sales during the food stamps shut down? 5 boxes of cereal for 5 dollars. 6 bags of Doritos for the price of 3. Who tf is buying 6 bags of doritos?

That and the average person is buying that crap less than before. Stuff like that rarely ends up in house anymore and I know I not the only one.

Yes. Inventory levels are high. Be sure to check your meat expiration dates too. They are holding on to inventory longer.

And people think it's the vaccines causing autism and other things
Maybe it's some of the foods/beverages that are being consumed

Besides beef I’ve noticed grocery prices as a whole have come down some.

Rarely buy it.

We buy corn chips and salsa. And then my wife will snack on a bag of sun chips throughout the week.

No cereal. No soda. Very few chips. No snack cakes.

Frozen foods we keep fries and corndogs. Corndogs last us forever because we eat them once in a blue moon.

It’s just not good food.

Pretty much this now.. even the salsa, I started making my own.

It's a mix of more heath conscience and the prices for chips and crap are just outrageous.

I believe in Louisiana, food stamps will no longer cover these things beginning Jan 1. It might have already taken effect.

Basically, the same exact thing i keep saying about houses and cars.

Stop buying these for a while and the prices/interest rate will magically change.

Crazy how that works when people stop buying things

This I think the major factor in this with other things people have suggested in this thread.
