Delane is leagues better than Downs
Weak schedule, only 2ints on the year, garbage political pick

100% agree.
But do you think for one second that award was gonna go to a player on a
7-5 team?
They are all “team” awards.

Fix your title or this will be gone in 10 minutes!

Downs is a baller but I think Delane had better stats against much tougher competition.
OSU is in the CFP. LSU is in the Texas Bowl. Plus the media has been meat riding that guy all year. No surprise he won.

Downs was always gonna win this award similar to delpit winning in 2019.

That’s an award that you audition for the year before
No way Delane was winning that
No way Delane was winning that

Does anyone know who gave up the fewest completions? No one was catching shite against Mansoor this year. He hardly gave up any completions. And had more interceptions.

Takes 2 seasons of media hype to win that award

Delpit won it in 2019 for his 2018 season

This. Delpit wasn’t even the best DB on his own team in 2019, much less in all of college football

My wife says: I have never heard of Delane… I said, that is the point. He was the best player on the field.

It was funny that they gave it to him in 2019 when he battled injury all year. Guess they felt they had to make it right.

Voters clearly have Downs syndrome

Baker from UGA, I remember that shite vividly cause it made no damn sense

That's correct...unless there is a real blowup bad season, the winner is predetermined. Been that way forever.

It’s just like Harrison winning his award a few years back over Nabers. It is what it is. We know what we have and how the Tigers will end up in the pros.

The Thorpe is always a year behind

These awards are pretty much decided before the season even starts.
