Seriously? Didn't expect this in my neighborhood.

Damn deer has been rubbing my palm. fricker. I saw him a few days ago running a doe in the front yard. Wife got a pretty good picture of him coming through the back gate.

We are basically in a damn huge clearing. No real trees around. I guess this is all he has. I will have to put the trail camera back up to see if I can get him on it. I have used it back there and filmed the does eating out of my bird feeders.

Definitely a crossbow situation.

ETA: seriously I wouldn’t tell anyone. I’d get it harvested and processed and in my freezer and NOBODY would know.

LOL. Neighbors would have a shite fit. And I dont hunt anymore so not interested. I have zero issue with killing them. Just dont eat them anymore and dont want a mount.

I was showing my neighbor and he sent me this picture from yesterday. That is right behind my pool fence and that buck is very close to my rubbed tree.

They have been chasing around here lately. I filmed one in the front yard last week.

OH yea. Its a weird area too. I think we have a couple different breeds here.

Talk with one of the guys at a store that I sell baits to and he said its a very weird area. Rut really changes just in a short drive.

Like someone said, all the land is getting taken up. Our neighborhood alone absorbed a shite load of land. Now there is a new development coming that is going to be 7,000 acres near me. Just crazy. For my area, we are in the country.

Plus, we have a bunch of bobcats running around. We have tons of walking trails through the woods and the transplants are scared of them. LOL.

There has been about 10 different videos posted this week. Captured this pic from one of the videos. We have had them in our driveway and even walking on the front porch.

One of my buddies did this in his yard in BR and the deer died on his neighbor's patio

That would be my luck. Damn thing would run up to the amenity center and fall over dead on the play ground or in the pool

How cool is that. I know it’s frustrating, but still a beautiful animal.
