Did it get dismissed after LSU formally terminated him without cause? Did LSU ever file a responsive pleading? Still can’t believe he filed that piece of shite. What an a-hole.

We gave him the money. Look at that as a settlement out of court.

We haven't given him any money except his monthly buyout check. LSU did agree he was terminated without cause. That should resolve the lawsuit, but not the total buyout. He still has to look for a job and LSU will get an offset against his buyout if he does.

LSU, specifically the LSU athletic department. A fan will often, perhaps even typically, use the pronoun we when referring to the school or organization they are a fan of, but you knew that was what he meant.

The fans make Tiger Stadium, so it is a we.

It was never a lawsuit. It was a motion for declaratory judgement. And it became moot after LSU stated it fired CBK without cause. That is what the purpose of the motion was for, to get clarity on if CBK was fired for cause ir not.

It was a lawsuit. Kelly's attorneys filed a Petition for Declaratory Judgment. You can't file a motion without a lawsuit.

I'm sure Kelly's attorneys will voluntarily dismiss it if they have not already.

BK's lawsuit was for a declarative judgement that he was not fired for cause... not specifically for money. A judgement in his favor would have just said we owe him the full payout. LSU BOS officially fired him without cause and hence rendered the lawsuit moot. He got the money

And an NDA between parties so nobody's going to discuss the settlement.
