For the uninitiated, Shawn Ryan is a former Navy SEAL who hosts his own podcast.

A while back he made a comment questioning how people in congress increase their wealth so much while in office. He never mentioned Crenshaw by name, but he did make references to Crenshaw’s birthday bash which was being headlined by Steve Aoki.

Crenshaw sent Ryan an instagram message saying that his boys in SEAL Team 6 wanted to know why Ryan was taking shite about Crenshaw.

Ryan took that as a threat. And said as much on his podcast.

Crenshaw has now had his attorneys send a cease and desist letter to Ryan to remove material from his podcast mentioning Crenshaw, and demanding an apology.

Ryan states that he will do no such thing, and has had his attorneys reply to Crenshaw’s.

Ryan has also extended an invitation to Crenshaw to come on his podcast so the can discuss the matter.

Gonna be interesting to see where this goes.

Sometimes my mindset is stuck in a past time and when I hear someone referred to as "a podcaster" I automatically think something like "this fricking nerd is a podcaster", but I have to remind myself things are accepted different in todays world.
