The Indiana State Senate has REJECTED a 9-0 R congressional map.
The existing 7-2 congressional map will remain in place.
The final vote was 31-19

Hope all the cruel "Mean Girls" ICE hype videos (while we actually deport half the quantity of illegals that Obama did despite having 25 million more to choose from) was worth it.

Obama counted people turned away on the border. It is not true that Obama deported as many as Trump is.

When our republic finally falls it won't be because of the kooks on the left, it will be because those who were supposed to represent the rest of us laid down their arms and gleefully surrendered.

The rational part of me thinks the old map is better.
I sincerely despise gerrymandering in any form whatsoever - there is absolutely no moral argument for it whatsoever.
The partisan part of me wants to ship all the democrats to the most destitute 3rd world location known.
I am torn between these two positions only because I sincerely believe our country is on the brink of being overtaken by a hostile ideology disguising itself as 'Democrats." And I know they have gerrymandered the hell out of every state they can.
I still think that we could come up with congressional maps that more ideally drew district borders with a minimum number of factors, none of which would be consider race, sex, wealth, party affiliation = just numbers of eligible voters and common sense.
BUT I do not advocate destroying the future of my great grandchildren on the alter of perceived perfection. When we re-establish true constitutional governance with a functional congress, rational justices, and honest politicians - then we might consider bending over backward to not "appear" prejudiced.

I’m telling you what I’ve read. TBH, I haven’t exactly “researched” it.
Here is a good discussion by CNN
What it comes down to is Trump does not get the benefit of the easy border returns because they aren’t coming. All of Trump’s deportations are coming the hard way.

Republicans are the absolute best at political suicide.

Republicans don't know how to fight.

Many republicans are turning into pussies. They would rather accept defeat (and change the rules) rather than rolling up their sleeves and getting to work promoting conservative ideals.
If you need this rather than drubbing the floor with the stupid policies of woke Democrats, you deserve to lose.
Good for Indiana.
