Said he'd be shocked if Ole Miss RB Kewan Lacy and WR Winston Watkins Jr. weren't at LSU next season...

Watched several bits from Neal McCready during the coaching search…very impressed with him as a reporter. Great podcast. Wish he wasn’t an Ole Miss homer.

These 2 are obvious. Lane took Lacy who didn’t have any playing time last year and made him into the best back in the country

The trust there is unbreakable

I heard Watkins as a name to watch from my Ole Miss uncle right after we hired CLK. He’s a good player

I love watching clips of his podcast with Siskey and McCarron. They've got some great stories.

Neal McCready...
Around 2003 he was pro-Lsu while working in Mobile on 105.5 sports radio. I remember him gushing over how much talent nick saban had on the l s u team

They fired him because he would not kiss the alabama fan's asses

Ole Miss is going to pay these guys more than the coaches just to stay.

Ole Miss accounts are claiming on X that they are prepared to file lawsuit against LSU for tampering if anyone transfers.

Lots of panic setting in

Hard to see a tampering lawsuit going anywhere considering how wide open the player movement has become. Considering how much actual tampering undoubtedly happens I have no idea how you selectively enforce it.

I almost think threatening suit will make Lane pursue these guys more aggressively.

Lacy would be one of the biggest portal additions in the entire country in the offseason. I think most LSU fans have wanted him pretty bad for next season once Lane was hired.

Lacy was a top 3-4 RB in the country this season. 1,300 yards and 20 TD’s in the SEC plays every time.

I don’t know much about Watkins, but 400 yards as a true freshman in the SEC is big. 15 yards a catch, and a 6’2 frame.
