Latinos & Trump

It there any reputable data that shows how Latinos have been trending this year in regards to support for Trump? Decreased, increased, stayed the same? Seems like earlier polling indicated that a majority supported his immigration enforcement but I can’t help wonder if some have softened their support or actually turned on him. (Anecdotally, I have a Mexican married into my family who came across with illegals as an infant and she is MAGA to the core.)

Rich Baris and Mark Mitchell have been saying recently that support is falling due to the perception that Trump is not putting America first due to his continued focus on foreign affairs

Is that with Hispanics or general population?

This is probably true. I think Trump is handling this well because he came in hot and put all of his disruptive policies in place right away (tariffs, deportations, deploying NG, DOGE, etc...). He knew there would be churn. Then he pivoted to foreign policies. He's going to end the wars. Finally, he is going to get to domestic policy, and is going to make sure that our economy is hot and trending up heading into the elections.
Things like no tax on tips/overtime, tariff refund checks, lower interest rates, Healthcare supplements paid directly to people, rather than insurance companies, higher wages, foreign investments (due to tariffs), etc, will be in effect before the elections and will still be fresh in people's minds, rather than something that happened over a year ago.
My big concern is that there will be another "totally organic" pandemic or some other distraction that will keep him from accomplishing his objectives. But if our economy is smoking, he's gonna keep his majorities, because people are numb to all the name calling...

both, but they say the fall of hispanic support has been the most critical

I agree. I think what Trump is doing is in the best interest of America. He has a plan, and in the meantime it is hurting him with the optics. Unfortunately in politics people are impatient

Potential legally voting Hispanics

Is there any data that shows a decline in Hispanic support for ICE actions, specifically? Or indicates ICE actions are affecting their support?

This is happening. The poster who suggested he do fireside chats was spot on. He could read out who they are deporting and for the crimes they were accused/convicted of.
This would go a long way with the fence riders.

There is a reason they use the word Latino when they try to say he is targeting the Latino community. His support from them helped tremendously in last election. They are trying to push them back left.
Just more political bullshite.

Trump wanted to rip the band-aid off with the foreign policy stuff as quickly as possible. Foreign policy does not win elections but he had to get the world under control before focusing on domestic policy.
Now that he pretty much has the world under control, the beginning of 2026 will be all about domestic issues, retribution, accountability which will make a perfect campaign season for Republicans.

That was pretty much my question but also asking about any polling showing that
. I do life around quite a few but I’ve never talked politics with any of them.

My hispanic friends are all Nick Fuentes fans lol. So they would say maybe he hasn’t done enough.
But i would be curious about the general population

Also foreign affairs are always an ongoing situation whereas economic policy is simply enact the policy then wait months or years for the results. There’s nothing each week that can be done to address economic issues outside of finding useless regulations to slash which they’ve been doing, most recently with CAFE standards. So it appears there’s more focus on foreign affairs because that’s what hits the news each week

Year 2 will completely focus on Domestics and the Economy. It is already going there.

OP was asking specifically about the Latino/Hispanic community.

Anecdotally, my immediate & extended family is pretty split down the middle. Those of us that voted for Trump have not changed our position. Those who did not vote for him have not changed their position. Those of us who voted for him have zero issue with legal immigration. We are completely against millions of people from all over the world flooding through our borders unchecked. Recently another illegal got a DUI and killed 2 people in Knoxville. This is the 3rd case of an illegal killing people due to drunk driving in the Knoxville metro in the last few years that I'm aware of. It's maddening.

My fiance is Venezolana/Colombiana, born and raised in Caracas, but fled in 2017 when everyone had to stand in line at 3am to get a small hen, 1oz of flour and sugar to last the entire days. Protested in the streets against Maduro & get roughed up by the police or their gangs like Tren De Aragua being used by the Gov’t as a strong-arm tactic. She’s MAGA to the core, a female McGyver that can farm, break down certain types of weapons and put them back together. Sewing her own dress in the car on the way to a Christmas party Friday. Almost every day I learn new talents that she has & no pics for you guys :)
I say all of that because people here in the states need to realize that there are some wonderful people down in South America that are being pillaged & have no way out. Mine was fortunate enough that her family were business folks in Venezuala and had other family in Colombia so they could seek citizenship there, so they left and lost their country.
And if we are to take any refugees/ legal immigrants, my vote is for the “latin folks”, as they want to assimilate, learn the language and they are all Christian’s/Catholics. Versus these middle eastern “refugees” that are indoctrinated to hate christians & will vote Democrat down the line.
People that come from that type of oppression like Cubans, Venezuala, El Salvador pre-Bukel.
Latinos from the communist countries are the most MAGA folks in this country. They will fight alongside American Patriots to defend what’s left of our freedoms. I know plenty of MAGA Latinos/Latinas.
That’s what irks me with the SFP’s of the world that are selling their lineage down the river because they are lining their pockets using a law degree to feed off the communist policies and red tape over red tape that has purposely been implemented in DC and states like La. And California. NY etc…
Lawyers making more laws for job security. You liberals on this board should be made to do an internship in Venezuala and report back if that is where you want this country to go towards & you’ll return with a MAGA CAPE & HELMET!
The only Latinos that don’t like Trump, are/
1. The ones that are here illegally.
2. The ones that are making bank off of communist policies (red tape & the legal litigious state)
