If O and Kiffin are such good friends and O wants a job why isn't he on staff?

That seems like it would be pretty awkward between friends. Nepotism hires are not at all frowned upon in sports for some dumb reason so it's not even like that's an issue.
Is LSU saying O can't come back? For what it's worth, I don't think bringing him back is a great idea but I'd love to know what Kiffin is actually saying to Orgeron about it.

My guess is DL job is not open and recruiting position is for Frank Wilson.

He’s going to hire that Robinson fella. He is the one that orchestrated that great recruiting class of DL when he was at atm. I’m sure money was the reason but he still got it done
