Won't be a big deal in hardiness zone 8A and below.

Same with posting temperature anomaly maps and not surface temperature. 10 degrees for a low in St Louis this weekend, pretty cold but pretty run of the mill for a December cold shot in that part of the country.
I like that he said coldest weather since last February. Well, it's December now, usually how it happens.

I'm leaving on Thursday, 12/18 to go goose hunting in Ok through the 21st. Is there anything out there that can show what the modeled weather is for that weekend?

I like the Weather Underground website's 10 day forecast. It gives you temperature, cloud coverage, wind speed and direction all in one graph. It has been very accurate in my experience for fishing and hunting. I've been using it for years.

GFS has pretty cold christmas but that is a ways out. IDK how it is with temp that far out but it is useless for hurricanes that far out

I use WU daily as my forecast app and forgot I could see out that far on it. Thanks for the reminder.

When you look at 15+ day forecasts right now it shows 60s/70s for SE Louisiana. That shite can kick rocks.

upper East Tennessee:
We've been watching the predicted lows for this coming weekend and (insert major sigh of relief) the lows Saturday are now 15 degrees higher than yesterday's predictions. Still below freezing, but nothing we haven't already had this year, a lousy November, FWIW.
