Adam is totally correct and I will give you a great example. Obama deported 3 million people in his term and not a single peep was said about it. Trump has deported maybe 200,000 and you would think that the world is about to end. Come to think of it perhaps it is a good strategy because it motivates the base and perhaps convinces some weak kneed moderates and young people that Republicans suck. You also have the added benefit that many Hispanics will get convinced that the Democratic Party is on their team and you know that they will give the illegals voting rights once they are in power. I absolutely hate the strategy and it is very destabilizing for our country, but that is the way they roll. You can’t hate them enough.

This makes sense to anyone who hasn't had areas of their brain responsible for critical thinking hijacked by a belief system. But, if their gender studies professors and their sociology professors began to preach to the laity that "shutting the front door of your home is racist", leftist believers would begin to leave their front doors open. And allow themselves to be slaughtered. Buddhist monks will self-immolate. Leftist believers do likewise when they vote.

This is actually not true. The Obama admin was counting people caught at the border as “deported” to fudge the numbers.
Trump is performing formal deportations from the interior of the US and using that number. Obama was doing expedited deportations upon being caught crossing the border and was using that number.

He wanted higher numbers back when deporting illegals was supported by pretty much everyone.

I thought he was going to bring up the point about how after they left the door open and the family of raccoons trashed the place, that they would close the door but then argue about not cleaning up the mess that had been made and taking the trash out. Instead they scream about violence, undocumented migrants, non-domiciled truck drivers etc. Basically, here’s why leaving your house a mess is worth it. It’s absurd.
