Notre Dame should join and win their conference.

Time for power 5 to break away from group of 5
You let the group of 5 hijack the playoffs this year
It’s a joke

We didn't get what we want so we're taking our ball and going home.

That's what you sky screamers sound like.

Then stop scheduling them.

No, it's logic: We watch the best football teams all year in this conference, so we want to see the best teams in the playoff.

Don't pack a bigger bag past your trip to Oxford: your team is going to get killed by ole miss, again.

JMU is going to get obliterated by Oregon.

It's DEI garbage, and it will result in yet again two wasted spots in what should be the 12 best football teams in the country. Tulane and JMU don't belong at the adult table, and, yet again, we will see why.

Why? Do we get the 68 best teams in the basketball tournament?

Tulane and JMU have benefited from the stupidly from the committee when they first set up the playoffs.

They were under the assumption that there were 4 or 5 legit conferences like there were whe the big XII was viable and the pac 10 was around.

If this was last year 10-2 Tulane would have had a first round bye

There’s basically 6 teams that have a bye if you are letting in founding father U and Tulane

Ridiculous

Are we still calling the ACC a “power” conference? Their overall sorry-ness caused this whole mess.

brother, idk if you are familiar with ole miss football, but it wouldn't shock me if Tulane dog walked them.

It's the ole miss and (usually) the rematch way

Tulane at least played and beat some P4 teams. They beat the ACC champ. JMU has no business in with a SOS of 125.

Then the P4 can front the settlement money from the player compensation case.

Remember the non-P4 schools are footing 60% of the bill over the next ten years even though 90% of the payments are to former P4 players.

Doesn’t matter if it’s politics or sports, the little guy always gets fricked because the greed of the big man is endless.

All this crying today. You can damn well bet some sort of new rule or structure will be made during the offseason so that never again would it be possible for the G6 to get two of the twelve slots.

Hell…they may even eliminate the guarantee of one G6 slot.

No it would be silly to reward a shitty team that purposefully schedules cupcakes under the guise of tradition (somehow leaving out the Michigan game) and losing the only two real games they played all year and then crying about not being a gifted a spot in a playoff
