This is why you can’t keep voting for the lesser of two evils. The Democrats are moving farther and farther left and the Republicans are moving farther left because they keep compromising. In the end, we will get socialized medicine and worse.

a. To think the Trump admin isn't part of the crafting/negotiations is silly
b. Trump still would have to sign these into law
c. Where is the alternative Trump promised in 2016?

2026 - 100% (blunts midterm attacks)
2027 - 60%
2028 - 50% (won't seem as big as hit from the previous year)
2029 - 25%
2030 - gone
And, in the interim- PROPOSE AN ACTUAL frickING ALTERNATIVE TO OBAMACRE

It’s time for all of them ( both sides) to get their Christmas Bonus from the Healthcare Providers.
So a deal is imminent

OK, who should we have voted for last election?
a. Trump
b. Kamala
I voted for Mike Johnson for Congress. Who should I have voted for instead?

You're not voting your way out of this.

Here is my proposal…an insurance backed critical care policy. You put as much as 10% of your income with an employer match of 10-25% in an Healthcare Savings Account. That is pretax and transportable between jobs or between years. Everyday expenses are paid through the HSA with it being funded at 90% of contributions each year, the other 10% goes into critical care pool for cancer treatments and surgeries when the HSA funds are exhausted.
Health care is provided at negotiated insurance rates. So if a doctor’s visit costs insurance 50 dollars with no copay. Your cost is 50 dollars either out of pocket or paid through the HSA. If a blood test costs 5 dollars with insurance, your cost is 5 dollars. No 80/20, 70/30, 60/40 crap. Once your HSA is wiped out, that is when the Critical Care pool kicks in for additional coverage.
If you don’t like it you can buy a traditional policy.

None of the above. Both of them would have extended Obamacare thus hastening our trajectory towards socialized medicine.

Remember when they campaigned on ending Obamacare? Pepp'ridge Farm remembers.

Then vote in your primary and take people with you. This happens because Rs dont vote in primaries then you get retards and democrats running as Rs and they win with 10% of the vote that bothers to show up for the primary.

They dont want to repeal Obamacare it makes the insurance companies a shite load of money. Vote in primaries and get rid of both LA senators and all your congressmen.

Well, they did promise they would. So there you go.
Just Remember: the majority of those subsidies behind the shut down and now being negotiated are:
1. COVID era subsidies
2. Go directly to providers, not people
So there will be much R support for them.

A republican was speaking on a bipartisan health care plan. I think there is a bill that opens states borders up on healthcare, this seems to never go through because the ins companies lobby HARD against it.

I really hoped the outcry this year would be enough to make some changes. Evidently it was not. At some point the public outcry will be too much to ignore, but I guess we aren’t there yet. It seems like Republicans would want to be the heroes of the middle class, but those donations from Insurance companies is still too much.

They’re terrified of the midterms. Just more kicking the can.

I think it's more a function of democracy, not crony capitalism.
The ACA is only hated in theory and is WIDELY popular in action, which is why they're panicking about the credits going away. People will revolt.
