Curt Cignetti also had the better QB which made a huge difference.

Day gets out coached a bunch.

He was born on third base with what urbs built and the steaming pile of shite that the big 10 had become.

Cignetti out coached college football this year. Every school in the P4 except maybe Georgia and Oregon would fire their coach immediately if Cig called and said he wanted to coach there.

Well, he’s a better coach than pretty much anyone in CFB and I’m not sure how any sane person could say otherwise given what he has done at an historical Bottom 10 program in 2 seasons.

Eh, FG kicker missed a chip shot. Let’s not act like OSU got their arse kicked.

This takes nothing away from Cignetti. One of the best coaching jobs in history of the sport over the last two years.

Indiana kicker missed a 40 harder. However, I agree, close game and a good one.

I would love to see either team against Georgia, that would be interesting.

The story of the game is pacing and redzone offense for Ohio State. Or rather, the lack thereof.

2nd half:
3 total possessions
2 redzone appearances
0 points

Good news for them, they have the ability to turn on the afterburners w those receivers in the playoffs. We’ll see.

I feel like Day has been calling a conservative game plan all year and things will be a lot different in the playoffs.

Cignetti being 18 years older than Day and not needing a drop of Just for Men threw Ryan Day way off his silver spoon game.

Mendoza just might be the most refreshing, nicest star in college football. How can you not like this guy.

It’s unprecedented in my lifetime at least. Loser programs without the “resources” don’t just up and become elite in 2 years 12-0 #1. It doesn’t happen in college football.

ETA: Snyder - Kansas State was pretty good

Cool take him camping with you then.

Fine speech, however the reality is that there were 3 non SEC teams last season that got in last season over clearly more qualified SEC teams and showed why. The SEC champion was playing a back up freshman at QB and had to play the refs as well. Everyone saw the screwjob the refs put on Texas to lift the cucknuts to the NCG so the NCG itself was a farce just like the supposed “champion”.

2024 is the first and ONLY “national champion” in the ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE SPORT, to 1. Not win their CCG, 2. To lose to their rival, and 3, lose to an unranked team and still have the nerve to call themselves a “champion”. A champion of what? Lies and foolishness.
