I read it was $15M. I believe Cig is a top 3 coach in the entire country right now. If you watch any interviews with him or any biographies he issuer impressive.

So happy he whooped Ohio St! I hate those guys!

He is without a doubt the best coach in the college game. It’s the availability part that would have taken some salesmanship. And we wouldn’t have stolen him. We would have paid.

Except, they have more money. Mark Cuban was very public that his coach was not going anywhere before the coaching cycle began. The great thing about his success is that it has been everywhere. Honestly its been good to see him be successful the past few years.

There are NO guarantees that he would be the coach at LSU that he is at IU. There are huge issues over and above coach talent that factor in. Admin support and freedom of action, culture, chemistry with recruiting pool and lightning in a bottle where everything just falls into place. I choose to just watch and enjoy his games and what he has accomplished. But he seems to squeeze every bit of effort and talent from his players. It could all be him or the locker room and this group of players. Success for several years will be the judge.

Bingo, IU dumped 60 mill into their football program. We are spending like 18 mill for comparison.

It’s not some coincidence IU jumped on the scene just like Texas Tech.

It was just drunken reaction to IU beating OSU made in jest.

Sorry for partying.

I'm an LSU grad. Grew up with a Dad that listened religiously to Ole Miss games on a small transistor radio. One of our neighbors hung Archie in effigy on our carport. My ties to LSU and OM go back a ways. I'm glad we got possibly the best coach in CFB.

That’s 14 years of less experience. I left out”bruh” because that sounds GAF.

I don't follow CFB that well. I knew the details around the SEC but don't really venture out into the other conferences much.

Cignetti is for real. Glad to see a program resurrected. Nice to see somebody other than bama, UGA and OSU sitting at #1. IU is now a football school.

People have been programmed to believe the Ohio State is good. Indiana beat an Oregon who needed two overtimes to beat Penn State. Who else has Indiana beat?

It is going to be embarrassing what the SEC teams to the other mish mash conferences in the playoffs. Oh wait, I forgot. The "committee" is going to make sure the SEC teams go head to head in the 1st round in order to prevent 4 SEC teams in the semi-finals.

Well OSU is the defending two time champ. But you are correct, they will pair up the SEC against each other.
