I don’t think I’ve heard it mentioned all season on gameday. FWIW I think it’s Mendoza’s

I think the winner of the game today gets it. I project Mendoza to look very average against the NFL defense Ohio State has compiled with an NFL DC. If you can get odds on Sayin, make the bet.

Pavia’s mom is blowing all the voters so he wins it.

Absolutely NO buzz for it this year.

It's kind of a weak year for candidates.

If the voters had any balls, they would just give it to Jacob Rodriguez. He's having a far better season than Manti Te'o when he finished as the runner-up.

I’m not sure it’s irrelevant or just no standouts to give it to.

It all depends on the last wk of the season. In reality, who knows who the best player is. If the Heisman was given after all the bowl games, historically we would have a few different Heisman winners.

Pretty inevitable that playoff talk would cut into or replace Heisman talk.

We also have so much coverage and analysis of players and their lives these days that some of the mystique is gone. Everybody's just waiting for a breakout or a screw up now that the season's longer and comes with more coverage.

Rodriguez is to Teo as Helicopter Pilot is to Catfish

Ndamukong Suh was the last one who deserved it amongst defenders, JRod gives me a similar feeling when it comes to turnovers created

It’s irrelevant because the voters are so deadset on giving it to a QB, that the actual best player in the country, Jeremiyah Love, has been virtually disregarded.

Pavia has been the most exciting and most valuable to his team.. there is zero way candy comes close to 10 wins without him. You really can’t say that about any other player this year.

Its so devalued and apparently this year that 90% of CFB fans don't know who Pavia is (who watches Vandy, honestly?) and no National Heisman talk for the award all year - so 0% of the general public knows who Pavia is.

If you told us the award had already been given, none would be the wiser.
