It really is a perfect match with LSU and Lane. He is an elite coach with the personality of a TD poster and he has the work ethic and drive to be the best. Knows the NIL and portal game better than 99% of the country too.
Absolute HR hire and it still doesn’t seem real he is our HC. There may be a couple of coaches that are overall better X’s and O’s right now but there isn’t a single coach that’s a better fit here and probably not a better offensive mind out there.
Now we get to see what Lane can really do with all the money he needs and the recruiting base he has now at LSU….
Yeah I think another golden era is upon us.

Even when we were having our battles with Spurrier and the Gators, I always had an appreciation for that sumbitch. I wish he had gotten into commentary after he retired. The man was full of gems.
