Thank you President Trump and Governor Landry.

Amazing what can happen whenever you actually put in some effort to protect the community from these violent animals. It’s not difficult and should be the norm, but Democrats want the chaos. That’s why they don’t do a damn thing about it.

Well the benefit of living/working in NOLA during the "Murder Capital" years is I amassed some great experience in penetrating (and blunt) Trauma.

RIP Charity

I’ve spent about 150 nights in NOLA this year.

Damn, it could have been me.

Kinda makes you think.

The city is about half the size it used to be, but there’s no question that murders are plummeting. It happening in a lot of cities. Not sure of the reasons but there are multiple factors involved. And yes, the immigration crackdown is one as is the state getting involved in New Orleans.

ETA: There is still a ridiculous amount of crime and lawlessness.

Hip hop and rap music are stagnant, even declining. Could be related.

Has nothing to do with LSP.

All the 9mm boys had to move to Houston, Jackson or Memphis to make a living. Can't make any money slingin in NO.

The people that commit crimes leave, crime rate goes down.

The reclassified drive-by shootings as death by natural causes, Seriously, they have a new violent crime unit out of the DA's office, prosecutions are way up, that helps a lot.

My final year in dental school in ‘94-‘95 I believe that there were roughly 420 murders. It was around the same time as the Antoinette Frank fiasco. As I was walking up to school one morning there were several NOPD squad cars standing around a body with a sheet over it in front of the patient entrance. It was the wild wild west back then. I used to hear gunfire from the old St. Bernard projects as I was doing lab projects at night.
