Is it "reimagined for modern audiences?"

There was a rumor that Meryl Streep was in line to voice Aslan - the character specifically written as the Jesus of Narnia - so my money is on yes.

it's Narnia for the Jay Are's and Fewer Kilometers.

Like all of it. . .watched by dozens, defended and praised by thousands

My favorite part was when Galadriel killed the lion.

Yeah because that shite has worked out so well for studios that tried it…..

I’m sure MODERN AUDIENCES will love it.

This is definitely one of those properties where they simply want to destroy it and plant their stake in the ground on its corpse.

**** Hollywood for even attempting this. One of the few major pieces of pop culture literature that had retained it's deep connection to Christianity and they are going to desecrate it.

Lucy and Susan gonna tell Aslan and the boys to stand aside.

The girls got this.

They will defeat the White Warlock and all the armies with naught but the Sword of the Justice Warrior and the Mighty Shield of Diversity.

Will be empowering to see.

I'm not a fan of either Gerwig or Narnia. Stick to dissing me in the DC and Star Trek threads please.

I don't think Narnia is popular enough with the yutes to be worthy of seeking out and destroying. It's a property for older millennials and those even older.

So... OK to make Jesus an animal, but God forbid a female?

I’m so thankful we got Narnia and LOTR when we did decades ago. #feellikeoldman

Because of course not. It never fricking fails. They take a timeless, well-known and popular IP and then completely gut it and wear its skin suit to cash in.

Violate these people in every orifice with a red hot poker.
