This is very interesting

really hope he finds great success in this as it was sad to watch him last year especially since he could’ve got drafted decently high the year prior

If success was based on how much someone deserves it, he would be a hall of famer!

Pitchers dont have to hit in the big leagues so he should be good. Hope he does well.

Rooting for this kid. He's been a great Tiger since he stepped foot on campus.

I preach to my kids about what happens when hard work meets opportunity..

Braswell has already been successful at LSU regardless, but I'm rooting for him to the get the opportunity to showcase what he can do. He's clearly putting in the work.

One thing I recently read that wasn't talked about during the season was that he actually worked in the pitching lab at points this past season to see if there was a way he could help the team that way on the way to the championship.

Didn't he start out appearing more as a pitcher than a position player there?

He pitched at South Carolina. Not too surprising to see this.

Was Braswell drafted in July? If not, can he return to college baseball for an extra year?

He was not drafted, but he also does not have any eligibility left. This move to pitcher is in an effort to break into pro baseball.

If I had to guess, he's going to pitch in one of the independent leagues, like the Frontier League or the one out in the Pacific Northwest to get innings and prove himself to get into affiliated ball.
