It's crazy how much better TV is than film these days.

I've seen one of those movies, and it sucked. Seen almost all of the shows and they all were good to great.

Because TV writing isn’t dumbed down like the majority of film writing these days

You're missing out on some pretty good shows.

Which would make this an incredibly uninformed opinion

Warfare should be on the film list. Glad to see Train Dreams on it.

I've seen Sinners. It's was ok. Have zero desire to see the rest. Especially Wicked.

Tv shows. Pluribus is awesome so far. Stopped watching The Pitt because of the woke shite. Death By Lightning was amazing, as was Task and The Studio. Zero desire to watch any of the others.

I’ll probably catch Frankenstein at some point in the next couple of weeks and I’m seeing in avatar in theaters. 4 of those movies I’ve never heard of and the other 4 I have zero interest in.

I’ve seen 3 of the tv shows. Andor and Severance absolutely belong there. The Studio isn’t even in the top 15 of shows I’ve watched this year. My girlfriend watched The Pitt and said it was phenomenal and that from a medical standpoint it was mostly accurate except for some stuff they had to speed up for tv purposes.

I haven't seen a single one of these. Also not including Terminal List: Dark Wolf is just unAmerican.

I do plan on watching Andor

That's not a terrible movie list. I've seen all except Wicked and the ones that havent come out yet. I'd take Sinners off and add Warfare and I'd take Frankenstein out and add either Weapons, Caught Stealing, Nuremberg, or 28 Days Later. Kudos to Train Dreams making it

Television i'd add Mobland and White Lotus.

I plan on making my own list after i see Marty Supreme, Avatar, Hamnet, Jay Kelly, and Is This Thing On?.

The Pitt

Anyone who's watched this. Can you convince me to watch it? I keep hearing that it was good, but I'm not looking for the HBO version of Grey's Anatomy or ER. What am I missing here?

I've seen trailers for almost all of them and they looked awful. I love going to the theatre and try to watch as many new movies as I can, but when the product looks terrible, I'm not going to watch it. It would be ridiculous to say that the quality of movies today is better than TV. But your schtick is being a contrarian in literally every reply you make so it's not surprising.

I dont do hospital shows at all because im so squeamish and a pussy when it comes to that shite. That being said, i kinda sat in while my fiance' was watching an episode half way through the season and got absolutely roped in and watched the rest of the season with her. It's a very fast paced ER with new medical students trying to keep up and learn as they go. It gave me a much higher appreciation of doctors and nurses. They have a catastrophic event that happens in the last 3rd in which they are the closest hospital to and its an all hands on deck, defcon 1, absolute wild ride to the end of the shift/season. Each episode is 1 12 hour shift which makes it more engaging. It's one of those shows that seems to go by so quickly because you're so locked in. It's great and cant wait for season 2 in January.
