They hate LSU
Plain and simple
Before the Kiffin to LSU rumors started heating up, it was an overwhelming consensus among all of the national media that he was going to Florida, and they were fine with it, some even campaigning for it.
Honestly, yeah we hate on BK, but the hate he received when he first came here was completely overblown as well

Media today is designed to tear away the fabric and fiber of every human being they don’t agree with, and then strip them to the bone dragging out old stories so they feel better about their sad pathetic lives.

Yes. And it’s almost like Ole Miss forgot that they have a playoff game because ALL I’m hearing about over there is Lane and LSU bashing over there. Not sure at what point they move on. It’s over with.

Because LK's job change exposes the problem with College Football today. Few enforced rules. It's wild west, all about money. The portal window and signing dates make no sense with regard to when coaches can "move up". As Verge said, he's doing what makes sense for LSU. If the higher level organization (NCAA/CFB) wants to improve things, they'll rethink the early recruiting window, the portal dates, and have some rules on timing of coaching changes.

Jeez the guy was a head coach I think before he was 30 and some of those early jobs, he really wasn't ready for. The Raiders in '06? Yea, nobody was gonna not get fired from that. He went to Tennessee and left after on year for USC, he coveted USC, everybody knew that, but it was a mistake to leave Tennessee. USC really shouldn't have fired him. It's been over 10 years and they're jist now getting back to where they were with him. FAU was always a stepping stone job, and Ole Miss was too if we're being honest. You really have to look at his coaching career as two separate careers. Before Bama and after Bama. Two completely different people, but people still like to act like he's still the same Lane he used to be. He's not.

The rant was really the “Saban board” for 15 years once Nick accepted the Bama job. It was constant bashing and coping given the best run in modern college football history.
Ole Miss boards for the future will be dominated by Kiffin talk to the point they want him to fail more than they want OM to win.
