15 total athletes signing D1 scholarships. Now, that is an elite program.

They're a machine right now. Basically have their pick of any kid in the city.

Open enrollment in New Orleans allows that to happen. 15 years ago those kids are likely spread out amongst 10 schools at least.

They are the Evangel of S LA.
They identify kids in Jr High, start working it early.

Beast program full of athletes. Love watching them play.

I watched them stomp Evangel and Curtis and it was crazy the physical difference on the field.
Karr has to be a top 3-5 team in the nation

20-25 years ago Juluke was HC at Karr, Frank Wilson at OP Walker, and Landry made a 3rd Algiers high school.
Karr was a magnet school and could accept through Orleans Parish, but students had to test to get in. After Katrina no more test, all of those students could be accepted at Karr.
Once they starting winning titles in basketball, football, track, everyone in the city want to apply.

They don't limit themselves to the city. They go all over the westbank too.

I’m not knocking their hustle. They have an awesome program. Much rather see them dominate than Curtis. Can’t stand JC.

I think he's good enough to play in the ACC or Big 12. Not a huge kid but can spin it and makes a lot of plays with his feet. I believe his dad was a QB for Frank Wilson at OP Walker in 2002. His name was John Johnson as well.

JC built this model and Denny Duron was the first disciple.
