If I am making that kind of money it would be hard to go to off the field job. Anyone know how much Special Teams coach makes? I understand Franks issue now.

It’s really surprising to realize that Frank was not associated with any of our championship teams

You'd think he was more valuable than Moffit for the program listening to some people here

Have y'all not watched how awful our special teams play has been in the past 4 years? That's what happens when you treat special teams coordinator as a throw away spot.

Let's go hire a real special teams coach and quit blowing games with poor special teams play.

You can’t just throw someone as the Special Teams coordinator. Thats how you end up with a crappy unit. And we all know how important Special Teams is. We need a legit special teams coordinator

Love Frank Wilson.. with that said if Kevin Smith wants to come to LSU it's an easy choice. Along with Weiss and McDonald.. outstanding assistant's. To me the? Is can Frank coach special teams?

We were told by BK that this new ST coach was best in the business yet our punt tackling was awful, had holding return penalties, kicking was okay, not bad, but decent.

Punt coverage tackling and lanes were really bad. 3 defenders all taking the same lane on same side of the field easily allowing a speedy returner to just run to the other half of the field.

Also had issues downing punts. Several punts that should’ve been downed inside the 10 that went for touchbacks.

Kickoff return was a complete nonfactor all season except Brown returning the last kickoff in OU game to midfield.

If someone is making that much scratch and trying to keep a position, any position, they should be doing everything they can to prove their value and help with the final recruiting push.

It's Kiffin's prerogative to choose and organize his staff anyway he pleases.

I do not see a path that Frank Wilson can undo the mess he's made. His reputation ( not very good as a coach) is irreparable.

if LSU is paying me anywhere near that amount, i will serve coffee to people in the ops building all day and never get close to getting on the field. I will watch games from the stands.

Sorry guys but an assistant coach in college football shouldn’t be making that kind of cash.

Just insane.

I thought all but a handful of assistants had their contracts tired to BK’s and if he was fired, they only had 6 months guaranteed. Frank would be one of those.
