I’d prefer he doesn’t reclassify as he can grow in height more.
Absolutely no doubt in my mind that this was 110% money and NIL related.
Is it though?

Did UCF not go undefeated 30 straight games? Boise State in years? Michigan State 2016? Cincinnati 2020 or 2021? All pre-NIL. I think your average fan is just too simpleton to realize that it actually has happened a lot before. It’s just only 2 or 4 teams got in, and not 12. In addition, nobody remembers 13-0 Mich St or Cincinnati who lost 1st round of CFP. The high IQ fans realize this. Recency bias is not high IQ.

Then you add in being down 17 to Mississippi St (0-8 in SEC I think), then went to OT with Kentucky. Just not a CFP team this year. Maybe next year, not this year.

Final score vs Vandy:

UT 37
Vandy 34

Total Yards that game:
Texas - 425
Vandy - 425

That’s about as close of a win as you can have. If it were at Vandy, I think Texas would’ve lost.
Haha. Let’s compare who SEC played in non-conference vs big 10:

SEC: Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Texas, Michigan, Notre Dame, GT, Notre Dame again

Big 10 OOC: Texas, OU. That’s it.

Don’t let SEC domination get you salty.

Oh, and the SEC was 11-3 vs other P4 teams this year haha.

The lion does not concern himself with sheep.

No chance CFP puts in 6 SEC teams

UT better root for LSU and Auburn. There’s no way they’d put 6 SEC teams in. It’d cause mass hysteria on twitter from non SEC and the rest of the country.

That said, I still don’t think they put 9-3 UT in over a 10-2 Vandy. So you need LSU or Auburn to win AND Vandy to lose.
The food is exponentially better in Baton Rouge than Oxford. Does Oxford even have restaurants? I’d be surprised if there was a Mansour’s or a Chime’s or Sammy’s good food level in Oxford.

I don’t even know what I’d do in Oxford. At LSU, You at least have top golf, Nola, pro teams, better stadium, etc.

If fishing is his deal, well there’s no better fishing than coastal Louisiana in the US. Unless you like going to lakes where you might catch 1 bass on a good day.

There hasn’t been a single nati winner that has averaged outside a top 10 recruiting class in the preceding 4 years besides 2023 Michigan with an average class ranked 12th. Ole Miss finishes 18th to 20th ranked classes. It’s never been done before since recruiting rankings started in like 2002. It’s only happened 1x ever outside a top 9 average recruiting class. Can’t be emotional, gotta be rational.

Then you add in the obvious SECG appearances:
LSU - 8
OM - 0
Natis this century:
LSU - 4 (yes 4 lol, and you know exactly why I say 4 too)
OM - 0
Top 10 recruiting classes in the last 15 years:
LSU - 14 of the past 15 years finished with a top 10 recruiting class
OM - 0 of last the 15 years finished with a top 10 recruiting class
A&M maybe goes to #5 in CFP? That’d put them against Tulane at home so not big deal.

Worst case scenario is somehow TAMU matches up with Bama if maybe Bama loses SECG to UGA, and TAMU slides down to 6 with Bama at 11. 10-2 Bama with an SECG loss will still make CFP imo at #11 with only a G5 behind them.
Lane is announcing at 11. Bama plays at 7. The game SHOULD have no effect on Kiffin announcement.
