I remember a discussion on here from a few years ago about AI porn and if it carries the same weight and punishment as real porn.

I didn't know if it's viewed the exact same as possessing real porn in the courts and under the law.

Looks like it is. Interesting topic.

Well, won't let me embed the video, but the link is there.

I will always be on the outside with the view that making, viewing or possessing something not real criminal is very dangerous. How is this different than reading a book? It simply isn’t real.

Gross, perverted and immoral but not illegal.

yeah it doesnt make sense. who gets to decide if something made up is above a certain legal limit and what is the criteria? if an AI looks like a 16 year old that enough? There are many people that look 16 but are older.

It should be. AI generates images from a massive number of real images.

They already also charge for cartoons.

Illegal vs immoral.

When asking if prosecutors will take advantage of laws, always assume yes.

Our thougjhts are made from all life’s real interactions. AI building fake things from all the real things doesn’t make them illegal or real. It isn’t a transitive relationship.

I suppose this is better than actual child pRon. Less kids getting sexually abused and taken advantage of which is a net positive to society.

Regardless, he should be thrown into a vat of wet cement.

Y’know, they should have a government sponsored site that claims it’s legal child AI porn but requires you to give a SSN# or some really specific way to find out who these people are, then claim it is down for maintenance when they try to stream it.

Put people on a list, round them up.

At least they’d be able to catch a lot of the dumb predators pretty quick. frick their rights or entrapment laws. Child predators deserve no quarter.

Too many people in this world. If we can weed out the fricked up ones, I'm all for it.

Louisiana Law

At least ten years of the sentence of imprisonment imposed shall be served without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.

it does. What happens when a man is put before a jury because he made ai of a supposedly 18yo but also could be 17? Then the out of the 12 jurors are 8 females over the age of 40. Dude might have to register as an offender for making legal images that a group of Karens thinks is bad no matter what.

Buuut, on the other hand, society just cant tolerate pedos making unlimited media of whatever their dark hearts desire.

The future is the cia just zapping this shite onto anyone's hard drive that becomes a problem or threat.

It will be the next generations planting drugs on a perp.

Anyone who has the propensity to create and or look at AI generated child porn has in the past or will in the future abuse children.

That's a mental illness and ignoring it puts people at risk.

There is no defense of it unless you have the mental illness yourself.

You are probably right, but you can’t jail someone when a crime hasn’t yet been committed.

AI is generated from real images…yeah? That can be an issue.

What if a guy draws his own child porn?

Its a problem and need to be delt with.

I'm not a big supporter of waiting till kids are raped until you do something. If you do it at all.

I'm sure we can all agree that sexually molesting children is bad and should be prevented at all cost.

Are you implying that it's okay to look at AI generated child abuse?

I have serious doubts this is what they would be cracking down on.
