The number 1 recruit from Louisiana, who plays at University Lab, whos had LSU as his number 1 and been verbally committed to LSU since July and who was the very first recruit Kiffin spoke with, was on the balcony for a photo opp, and even had a heads up that Kiffin was our head coach by tweeting an emoji of a Tiger only a few hours before news broke, decommits less than 12 hours after that photo op.

If yall don't think the ship has a few rats that need to be exterminated, I dont know what to tell ya. This culture problem has apparently extended itself into our coaching staff, and it may be time for Lane to wipe the slate clean, regardless if many of you want to keep certain people, and what "power" you may believe they hold.

Jesus some of you need help. Some of you have the emotional stability and irritationality of a 16-year old girl.

Brother, he was a guaranteed early signee. Moving his commitment date to February whether you agree or not is decommitting and reopening up to be recruited. Why would a player verbally acknowledge his commitment and less than 24 hours after meeting the head coach, and taking photo opps move his commitment to FEBRUARY.

Or some of us aren't as Naive as 16 yr old girls. Use some critical thinking skills here and judge this off of face value.

This isnt some unsubstantiated rumor, especially when people like Ross Dellinger are reporting it.

If Blake Baker is back in the fold tomorrow, he likely signs.

The direction of the defense is in flux until we know what Baker is doing. I still think Brown will be all LSU.

Kamar Brown HAS NOT decommitted. He and Anderson are both waiting to find out who their position coaches will be.

Some of y'all act like y'all have never seen a recruiting cycle after a coaching change. There were always going to be some issues keeping this class together. Add in that out defensive staff is up in the air as well and it's no surprise we're seeing what we're seeing.

This may be true, but believing it because of anonymous internet rumors or because we may have a few flips doesn't make it true.

I assumed it was more about money. "Coaching changes" plus LSU shelling out money left and right = why sign today when we can keep negotiations open for another two months...

Agree, pretty sorry move. The problem is, NIL has made coaches so weak. They have no recourse.

I’m guessing dude just loves the spotlight and wants to stay in it.

Someone said in another thread, while it’s unfortunate that they share the same sleazy agent (no idea who it is, feel 100% confident that he’s sleazy, they all are), they are also wanting to know who their coach is going to be. None of us would commit to a new job not knowing who our boss would be. Changing a DC could lead to a whole different scheme that might not be best for their skill set. Add in that their new big boss is an offensive guy that’s been here two days.

I certainly hope it’s just a wait and see, and that Frank isn’t negative recruiting for leverage. We need to keep Frank, we don’t need for him to be an on field coach anymore.

My guess is that they stay if Baker stays and if he goes then they will want to have the confidence that the new hire will have them prepared for the NFL. It’s really that simple. My guess is that Kiffin will bring in an outstanding D coordinator if Baker leaves maybe better than Baker. Just wait and let’s see what happens. There is also money involved with this in the way of NIL. So it’s up to Lane to decide how to spend it. Just trust the process, if they are suppose to be Tigers great!! If not, life goes on with other players a new defensive coordinator may bring.
